The Shell Bench by Urbis Design Was Inspired by a Sad Seashell

Created by Urbis Design, the Shell Bench is an outdoor seating option that was actually inspired by a seashell. According to the designers, the Shell Bench was "hand made in advanced lightweight concrete with a natural white or concrete grey finish with hand-turned Ash legs."

The Shell Bench seems to be perpetually imploring its owners for something and not getting what it wants, by the looks of its sad face. Yet I find it endearing, though it is safe to assume that this injection of character was simply a byproduct of a great design. Stats for Frowny Face Furniture Trending: Older & Average
