Shaga Studio has proposed a design for the Ramat-Ishay memorial center in Israel, which is meant to pay tribute to anyone who as been touched by war.

The proposed design takes on a circular shape, which blends in well with the landscape. Overall the look is not meant to stand out too much, but just serve as a gentle reminder of the effects of war. The roof area of the rounded mass has a green section with a garden area filled with flowers.

Shaga Studio has worked hard with this design to come up with something that's recognizable, but won't overtake the area. The hope is that the structure will encourage interaction and thoughts relating to the memories of past wartime events, that will eventually help people with the healing process.
