Sex Predators Vehicles To Be Tagged With Neon Plates

The State of Ohio is taking tough measures to protect its citizens against repeat sex offenders. Convicted predator’s vehicles will be tagged with mandatory fluorescent green license plates to alert neightbours, potential victims and police to their whereabouts.
This follows Ohio’s existing law that requires convicted drunk drivers to display neon yellow plates on their vehicles as well.
Ohio already tags repeat drunken drivers' cars with bright yellow license plates. Now it wants to make convicted sexual predators use fluorescent green ones.
A bill introduced Wednesday would require all habitual and child-oriented convicted sex offenders to display the easy-to-spot plates.
