For the gents, the latest is Acqua di Parma’s Colonia Intensa. Built on both classic and noble ingredients, the fragrance quivers on the border of tradition and modernity. It’s a discreet scent, yet very intense. This fragrance breathes ‘self-assured man’ and will compliment the Marc Jacobs ‘Daisy’ perfume very well thanks to a pinch of citrus – Sicilian lemon and Calabrian bergamot - enriched with vibrant cardamom and ginger.

Don’t be misguided by the sensuous character of the cologne; the fragrance will develop surprisingly, intensely masculine notes due to the innovative long lasting wood-leather.

According to the Acqua di Parma promotion team in Amsterdam, the fragrance base can be described as a “sophisticated leather note that creates an aura of virile charm. The fragrance is wrapped in spicy, smoky woods: cedarwood, lignum vitae, and patchouli with background accents of benzoin and musk.”
