 Interface of the Future A new language on how the real world interact with computers has now begun. The Sensitive Wall, an interactive video wall that presents a bookshelf of multimedia content organized in templates, where you can select the videos that you want using gestures and moving your hand across the screen without actually touching it. It is based on a propreitary system stereoscopic computer vision that is being patented. The SensitiveWall was created by iO, an Italian company that envisages the ideal that innovation should render the technology totally invisible and untouchable. The company is currently working in the development of other projects such as the SensitiveTable, SensitiveFloor and Sensitive Space System.  “One of the characteristics of a successful natural interface is the reduction of cognitive load on people interacting with it: from a presentation perspective, the form of the representation of content is designed to minimize this amount, by reducing the number and the complexity of the stimuli, and allowing a straightforward interpretation of the whole perceived by the subject; from an interaction perspective, this is done by allowing people to rely on interaction schemes they are used to, suggested, afforded by the enhanced environment itself.”
