The Volvo Concept 26 is a self-driving vehicle concept that features an interior only -- this car doesn't have an external body shell at all, but has a revealing interior that reimagines drivers' and passengers' interactions with the vehicle with the aim of better managing transportation and commuting.
This vehicle features distinct modes for different driving situations. For example the 'Drive' mode features a dashboard, instrument panel and central console panel while the 'Create' mode offers an adjustable platform that enables drivers to efficiently use the vehicle.
Anders Tylman-Mikiewicz, General Manager of the Volvo Monitoring and Concept Center, aptly describes this self-driving vehicle as "providing drivers the choice of when to drive or delegate driving, we are able to retain the love and freedom of the open road while fixing the broken commute."
