There are some people in this world who think that they are better off without certain limbs and body parts, like self-amputees. Self-amputees indulge in the most extreme version of body modification by removing parts of their bodies they feel should not be there.

While some have a life-long fantasy to be an amputee, others grow a love for this self-mutilating act over time.
