This is a pretty hardcore launch campaign for "Madworld," a video game that the UK press has called the most violent ever. Severed arms holding the game have been placed around London to coincide with the launch date. "Madworld" has already stirred up a fit of controversy, according to Mischief PR, as it's being exclusively released by SEGA on the â€œfamily-friendlyâ€ Nintendo Wii.
Implications - Campaigns have to become more attention-grabbing to break through the clutter audiences are exposed to. By using out of home methods and guerilla tactics, agencies are able to come up with creative ways to garner free exposure for the product that they are advertising for.
