The Seatbelt lounge chair combines two life savers: seatbelts that save human lives, and product recycling which saves our planet.

The chair is designed by Nuttapong Charoenkitivarakorn and created by Thai villagers who loop lengths of recycled cotton-nylon seat belts around the chairs’ plywood frames.

The result is an industrial take on a traditional weaving technique.
