Scribble Press App Lets Children Write and Publish Their Own Stories

As a child, I had always wanted to publish the stories I wrote, so something like the Scribble Press app would have made me tremendously happy. Unfortunately, the Scribble Press app has come about 15 years too late for me, but all the young aspiring authors out there will be very pleased.

The Scribble Press app is a free app that can be downloaded to your tablet. It allows kids to write, color and publish their own books -- into actually physical books, I might add. Along with over 50 different story templates, the app offers hundreds of features and tools so that children can fully customize their creations. And, using a touchscreen device like the iPad allows for an easier way to draw and color, in comparison to using a computer screen and mouse. Once all the customization is done, the book can be printed and published into a soft- or hard-covered book and ordered to be delivered to your doorstep for about $10 plus cost of shipping.
