Drug runner pilot or commercial airline pilot, which would you choose to land on these freaky airstrips? I’m going with the dude that is probably stoned and is used to landing in the jungle at night with no lights. With the emphasis on keeping us safe from terrorist attacks, these airports would make that the least of my worries.

These scary air strips are as follows:

1. Tioman Island off the coast of Malaysia  

2. Wake Island, Pacific Ocean  

3. Macao Int’l Airport

4. Kuujjuaraapik, Quebec

5. A rock off the coast of Greenwood (Canadian Military Labrador Helicopter)

6. Afghanistan rescue mission

8. Santa Cruz, Portugal
