Jobsintown.de Barber's Cape|
Life’s too short for the wrong job. That is the message of this brilliant ambient campaign by Jobsintown.de, a German job search portal. The campaign uses barber capes that transform the person getting his or her hair cut into someone with a boring or not-so-appealing job. The illustrations on the capes include a bloody butcher with a big knife, a praying nun, and a toilet flushing plumber. What I like most about this guerrilla campaign is the interaction. I imagine the impact is quite strong for those looking at themselves in the mirror in the cape. No wonder the campaign, by Scholz & Friends, won Gold at the ADCE Awards 2008.
