The cumbersome task of scanning documents has been simplified with the IRIScan Book 5, a portable and cordless device designed to scan documents anytime, anywhere.

By rolling the IRIScan Book 5 across a document of choice - photographs, receipts, newspaper articles, handwritten notes, magazines, books and more - the document is automatically scanned and saved into an SD card that makes the scanned documents transferable to your smartphone, iPad, iPhone, tablet or your desktop computer.

Scanning at a rate of three seconds per page, you can elect to scan in color or black and white. You can also scan in 300 dpi for documents and receipts, in 600 dpi for your photos and 900 dpi for any arts and craft projects.

The IRIScan Book 3 is compact, making it simple for business travel or meetings. The scanner runs on four AAA batteries and includes a memory card that allows you to scan documents without a computer connection.

The new portable scanner is available for $129.98 in a range of colors including red, white, turquoise and black.
