In her new photography series, British artist Sarah Maple has proven that humorous feminism is very effective. Each of her photographs shows Maple holding a sign with a brutally honest statement on it, catching the viewer's attention while bringing home a message that has long been on the minds of modern women throughout the world.

Her most memorable photograph is probably one in which Maple plays three different women: the first is a Muslim woman, wearing a hijab and holding a sign declaring that she wishes she was born a man. The second woman is a scantily clad vixen, wearing red lingerie and holding a sign saying that, if she had been born a man, she would have slept with women; the third woman, a businesswoman wearing a power suit, declared that, had she been born a man, she would have stolen jobs from women. The effects of these photographs is long-lasting, due to both their humor and their brutally honest opinions.
