SanDisk V-Mate can record video from an output device like a TV and save it in a memory card for later playback on a portable video player.

It supports a large number of memory card formats including SD, miniSD, microSD, RS-MMC, MMCplus, MMCmobile, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo. It can encode in MPEG-4 SP, MP4, 3GP and 3G2. It comes with a remote control, AV cables, and USB cables. The device includes the ability to use standard infrared remote control codes for many common tuners so you can schedule recordings to start at certain times. When the time arrives the SanDisk V-Mate turns the tuner on via IR and starts the encoding process. (sandisk)
