The Challenge

MAXIMALdesign won an international design pitch for the development of this prestigious Samsonite Black Label collection. The X’Lite range comes in a full array of pieces including regular Spinner® cases, Upright® cases in hardside and softside/hybrid, garment bags, duffles, backpacks, messenger bags and more.

The challenge was to design a luxury line for the discerning traveller matching the new brand strategy that focuses on innovation and aesthetic design and style. A collection with a very disctinctive character that engages the traveller emotionally with his travel item.

*TSA: Utilizing a special code available to TSA authorized security screeners, TSA can identify, inspect and re-lock cases for peace of mind.  Each Travel Sentry lock has a special identification mark and code alerting the TSA that they can open this lock without destroying it.  Every TSA screening location is able to use these codes to open the lock and then re-lock it after inspection.
