In an effort to discourage drivers from touching their phones while operating a vehicle, this safe driving app uses a point system to incentivize good behaviour. SafeDrive is a smartphone application that, through gamification and discounts, rewards users for leaving their phones alone when driving.

Based out of Romania, the safe driving app is the result of a partnership between XL Team from the Netherlands and KNS from Romania. Through SafeDrive, you can create an account and begin earning points before you even start driving. The length and distance of your car trip determines how many points you can collect. You can also lose points if you check your phone at a red light, say. When you collect enough points, you can trade them in for participating products and services.
