The Sacai Fall 2014 Collection has single-handedly ushered in the current fixation with hybrid clothing. It's a combination of many styles that utilize plaid, thick cable knits, printed scarves and delicate appliqué in a palette of dark spring green and royal blue.

The entire collection is handled with sensitivity and detail thanks to creative director Chitose Abe. It's wearable and exercises her abilities to take printed orange and red houndstooth plaid and pump them up with astrakhan shoulder flaps. She's a creator that knows how to solve a dilemma by branching into new realms of fashion.

In combination with lambswool arms and fluffy Mongolian cuffs, the collection presents itself as a digestible, functional ease. The visual aspect is on point.
