Round glasses are all the rage this season as designers and the celebs who love them send the visual queue that vintage glam is so right now—or is it Harry Potter they’re channeling?

Vintage geek goggle glasses for men and women were spotted on the runways of Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren, Zegna and Lanvin. Lady Gaga’s round glasses are getting quite a bit of attention too.

“Last month, New York magazine included round sunglasses among the anticipated trends of the summer,” the NY Times pointed out, adding that the prediction was bang on.

Credit crunch got you down? You can still go for the John Lennon look with cheap round glasses; budget-friendly sun goggles are available everywhere from Urban Outfitters to Fred Flare.
