Design Scene's 'Romantic Folk' image series is a fashion story lensed by photographer Daniele Rossi. Highlighting a number of futuristic and opulent ensembles, the photo series translates an old world aesthetic in a contemporary way.

Gracing the publication's first issue of 2016, this series features wardrobe styling by Emily Lee who dresses models Klaudia Chajduga and Linda Soncika in statement pieces like metallic mesh dresses, lace-accented coats and quilted skirts that boast a duvet-inspired texture. Boasting dramatic layers, these outfits push visual boundaries while staying surprisingly wearable.

In addition to its eccentric wardrobe picks, 'Romantic Folk' also features sci-fi-themed hair and makeup looks by Mimmo Di Maggio and Katja Wilhelmus. Together they create beauty looks reminiscent of cinematic characters like Queen Amidala of Star Wars Fame.
