In the Autumn/Winter 2014 Roland Mouret collection, the designer pours out his heart, remarking: "This collection is reflective and symbolic of what I've done in my life." Some of the signature elements from the designer include details like open-faced seams, exposed zippers and expertly wrapped and draped fabric.

Considering that Mouret has multiple strengths to showcase, the collections are like a collage of his best skills. Many of the pieces are garments are segmented with sleeves, skirts and collars of different materials, colors and techniques as other parts of the garment. Some of the most inventive details in Mouret's work includes innovative use of fabrics like mesh and feathered details that were glued and then later sewn onto the apparel.
