Tennis champion Roger Federer is seeded number one in the world and in addition to his great athletic skills, he also has superhuman powers. Or so it seems from the latest Nike commercial which pairs the tennis great with New Zealand stand-up comedian Rhys Darby. The New Zealander is known for his energetic physical comedy routines and in this hilarious and goofy ad, Darby plays Federer’s “secret coach” always ready to stalk and ambush him to engage Roger in crazy and really hilarious tennis “battles”.

The ad was released to coincide with the Wimbledon tennis tournament presently underway in London.

These Nike ads are really awesome!

Of all the commercials the Federer was hands down the funniest. This commercial was good for Federer's image, it brought him down from god like status to someone with a personality.

"I would honestly rather lose to the same guy twice than lose to two different guys. I think if I lost to two different players I would think I wasn't playing well, but with one guy I can think 'OK, this guy is on a roll'. It's just easier to digest."
-- Roger Federer on his losses to Guillermo Canas this year at Indian Wells and Miami.
