Chess Boxing is a sport that combines chess, the sophisticated game of strategy, with the violent sport of boxing. The sport’s 32-year-old founder, Iepe Rubingh, got his inspiration from “Cold Equator,” a 1992 French comic book. The match begins with 4 minutes of chess and is followed by a round of boxing. A winner in any one of the two contests results in an overall win. In case you were wondering, the chess board is removed from the ring once the fists start flying.  It's the No. 1 thinking game and the No. 1 fighting game.
