Robotic Barman - Guaranteed Great Service At The Bar

A barman - called Mr Asahi - has begun his international tour in London where he served up shots of ice-cold Asahi beer customers. The AWESOME bit is that Mr Asahi is a robot made with a combination of robotics and animatronics. It took 8 engineers, 200 man-hours to assemble the robot which weight in at a quarter of a ton life-size robot.

He was made in Japan and leaving aside the eye watering £100,000 cost of making he makes financial sense too as can serve pints in less than two minutes - the average wait is 15 minutes.

it may be a PR stunt (blah, blah, blah) but it is still pretty awesome.
