Science fiction fans love it when their stories feel realistic, and this series of robot anatomy illustrations helps spread that feeling.

The series takes some of science fiction's most famous mechanoids, from the Cybermen, to Star Trek's Data, and literally reduces them to their base components in a way that recalls illustrations out of Gray's Anatomy. It makes them feel real, like they exist somewhere in the world, and can be examined for science.

Artist Josh Ln is both a science fiction and anatomy fan, and crosses the two over frequently in his art. More of his work can be viewed on his Society6 page, where prints of the robot anatomy series can be ordered Stats for Robot Anatomy Artwork Trending: Older & Mild
