Robert Therrien. An artist giant

Robert Therrien was born in Chicago in 1947 and currently lives and works in Los Angeles. His work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at Gagosian Gallery, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, among other places. More recently, his work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, NY. A major study drawing will be presented at the Kunstmuseum Basel in the summer of 2008.
