To describe the 'Royèroid' furniture collection, Robert Stadler says that "the details of the whole are flattened as if a skin had been stretched around the previously separate elements."

Inspired by legendary decorater Jean Royère's 'Ours Polaire' collection, Robert Stadler's lasted work features round furniture pieces with diamond-shaped seat cushions. The collection is similar to Royère's work with the use of hairy, suede-like textiles.

Implications - Furniture designs that incorporate style elements that have been successful in the past, such as particular materials or sewing techniques, can better ensure they are welcomed by consumers. Businesses should always take in to account what has and has not worked in the past as they attempt to create an improved product. Stats for Stretched-Out Skin Seating Trending: Older & Chilly
