Robert Ryan is the Edward Scissor Hand’s of today, snipping and cutting intricate patterns into everything from paper to leather for bags to long evening gowns. Ryan has cut his way through Vogue Japan and UK, Amelia’s magazine, Cent magazine as well as filling the windows of Liberty’s and has created pieces for Paul Smith collections in 2005 and 2006. Most impressive, the designer managed to do it all without completely paper cutting his hands.
