The Daily Mail posed the question, “Has Rihanna set the most daring fashion trend ever?” alongside these photos. Now, that’s a big question, and since fashion trends are right up our alley, we had to check out this sartorial statement ourselves.

Wearing nothing but sparkling stickers underneath her black tuxedo blazer, Rihanna could have blended right in with showgirls in her Las Vegas getup. Paired with clunky colorful gem earrings and fuschia lipstick, she was seen partying with Jay-Z at Tao nightclub.

While I’d argue that Rihanna’s look isn’t “the most daring fashion trend ever,” I’d say it’s sure to shock a lot of grannies. As the Mail pointed out, if this look does catch on, it’s only fair that Janet Jackson, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga get some of the credit too.
