New York City is full of bustle and business, and Richard Sandler has been capturing it perfectly since the 80s. In his ongoing series, he captures a slew of New Yorkers commuting to work everyday via taxi, bus or subway or by foot.
With such a myriad of people and transportation routes Sandler seamlessly takes pictures that truly showcase New York's melting pot of personas. Some of his photos are from the present and some date back to 1977, but either way he makes them appear vintage by shooting them in black and white.
Some of the images in his series include people sleeping on the train, nannies waiting to cross the street and business men walking with their briefcases down a busy New York street.
