Richard Gere Molests Top Actress in India Edit

Richard Gere is in India this week promoting AIDS and HIV awareness. He is passionate about safe sex and apparently, he’s passionate about public displays of affection too. Shilpa Shetty is an Indian actress and AIDS activist who is blowing-up everywhere due in large part to her winning Big Brother in the UK this year even after a huge on-camera catfight between her and another contestant turned ugly. Shipa and Richard were asked to attend the same AIDS charity event in New Delhi. Shilpa was the master of ceremonies and after introducing Richard Gere, in what can only be described as a “bizarre” incident, he wrestled her into a full-body hold with one hand firmly planted on her butt, bent her over and kissed just about every part of her face that had skin. It was truly shocking and Shilpa is furious and Indians are outraged, demanding a public apology. I won’t even bore you with the fact that he’s 57 and she’s only 31. I won’t even tell you how Indian culture does not approve-of pda’s and a woman was forcibly molested on-camera and not one person came to her aid when he should have known better. And for sure, I won’t even begin to mention that he had a chance to speak about AIDS and HIV awareness and instead he didn’t speak about anything. He just put on his show that sent Shilpa racing off the stage with Richard looking very smug with himself as he chased after her.
