The Ribbons Open Air Theatre Weaves Through Space

Although entitled the ‘Ribbons’ open air theater, I can’t help think that it looks more like a melting glacier than anything else. Perhaps it’s because I smell winter coming and can only think of ice, snow and all things frosty.

Designed by Makoto Sei Watanabe, the Ribbons open air theater was commissioned for a city park in Taichung, Taiwan. Featuring an amazing canopy, it guides visitors among the festivities beneath. For more info and images, visit DesignBoom.com.
