We can't get it fast enough. Information, that is. Seconds seem like an eternity. Who would watch an hour documentary? Half-hour? Today, very few people, which is why the microdocumentary form is popping up.

Microdocs are from the Short Attention Span Science notebook. The Microdocs are two to four minute videos that deal with an important issue, quickly. The Microdocs give the viewer a taste, and some talking points for the cocktail circuit.

Implications - In our current world, consumers demand real-time solutions and simply don't have the time to indulge or waste. This pattern is very telling of the large market of people that view their news on-the-go. Businesses can gain by providing products and services that give the people what they need like the news, only abbreviated.
