About the Reva:
The REVA Electric Car Company was incorporated in 1995 to manufacture environment friendly, cost effective electric vehicles for city mobility. REVA was designed after considerable market research across nine cities. Considerations such as low operational costs, low purchase prices, driving comfort and effortless parking in congested city traffic conditions were kept in mind while developing India’s first EV.

Today with more than 900 cars on Indian roads and about a 100 cars in global markets as on March 2005, REVA is all set to become the largest manufacturer of EVs in the world. Armed with the EEC (European Economic Community) Certification the REVA is currently being exported to UK and Malta and are being test marketed in ten countries including USA, Norway, Switzerland, Cyprus, Japan and Srilanka.
