I have always hated this cartoon style, so I am not overly fond of this campaign. I don't find them funny, and I can't understand why BA would choose to come down this road, or should that be flight path.

Implications - Adults in modern society are looking for items that will remind them of the past. Products that contain an older element appeal to shoppers who want to be reminded of simpler times. Companies could develop more designs like this in order to attract more attention.
