I love retro images. Photos of people who looked only so-so when they were taken have become glorious with time, and there is no finer example than this blog. From Madonna to other fantastic 70’s & 80’s starts, these images will always generate a reaction - in my case, horror that I am old enough to remember them.

These images are so old, it might not be long before these looks are the inspiration for fashion revivals! I quite fancy that snake swimming suit, anyone else?

People put way more effort into their appearances back in the day. No one fusses over hair anymore (teens today probably wouldn't know what to do with rollers) and guys don't manicure their mullets and mustaches. I'm not saying I like big 80s hair and perv staches, but it'd be nice if there was a 'style' that marked this decade.
