In his interview with Trend Hunter's video team, Alex Lam showcased some cool new retail apps that make buying and selling items easy and painless. Alex's favorite app, called 'Sold,' lets users take pictures of their unwanted items. After evaluating these pictures, 'Sold' prices the objects, finds a buyer, then sends employees to the seller's house to pick up and package their sold item. This makes for an incredibly easy selling experience; users don't even have to drag themselves to the post office. Sold makes for super convenient trading, adding to the popularization of online shopping in its ability to make everyday tasks less time-consuming for those with busy lifestyles.
While he's perhaps gone on to more realistic pursuits, Alex revealed that he longed to become a Pokemon trainer in his younger days. While this was one dream that could not be, Alex has realized that, just like Pokemon training, when Trend Hunting, you gotta catch 'em all!
