Some of my favorite classes at Penn were the ones that focused on Renaissance-era literature and culture; it's no wonder, then, that 'Renaissance Time' by Sveta Sokolova appeals to me. With fashions like giant headwear bonnets, poufy diaphanous sleeves and corsets, this shoot is right at home with couture creations we've seen strutting down catwalks in prior seasons.

Implications - Classic styles are appealing due to their ability to remind customers of simpler times. Products that incorporate older elements with modern ones attract a wider audience than ones that just focus on either or. Companies could develop their items with these aspects in mind to generate more interest in their brand.
