A relevant modern version of the historical Good Book, ‘Bible Illuminated: The Book’ has repackaged the New Testament as a glossy magazine, complete with fashion photography and celebrity name-dropping.

While ‘Bible Illuminated: The Book’ includes the same stories from the original version, it features arresting contemporary fashion photographs which conceptualize how those stories relate to modern-day issues.

The book draws a line between today’s goodwill ambassadors like Angelina Jolie, Bono and Bill Gates, who each have helped raise awareness on modern social issues, to the historical stories of Jesus as a man of action.
