Reinventing the Boat The Front-Runner is a hydrofoil watercraft that reinvents the concept of the boat. You can spin around, carve and race across the water. The designer, J. Ruiter, describes on his site, “The Front-Runner, a hydrofoil watercraft made unique by twin forward-mounted jet-drive motors. It has an airplane-like steering system that allows changes in heading, pitch and bank. Since the draft is only a few inches, the Front-Runner can navigate waters that are usually inaccessible. It is 11’ long and has two 215 horsepower motors, ergonomic crew chairs, a retractable top and ample space for storing gear. On top of it all, it’s made of entirely recyclable materials.” References: jruiter, milifemitimes1 Comment: on Front Runner Concept Watercraft |
