California State Parks hit hard by wildfires over the past six years, are hitting back with their 'Reforest California' campaign.

The program is supported by Stater Bros. Supermarkets, Coca-Cola, and California State Parks. It will seek to raise fire-prevention and funds to add one million native trees to devastated forest areas.

Implications - Big companies are increasingly starting to see the importance of getting behind high profile environmental causes on account of the fantastic PR that they generate. There is a lot that companies -- large or small -- can learn from corporations like Coca-Cola when it comes to investing in social causes that improve communities and ultimately impress their consumers on a large scale.
