Viceland Stereotypes Redneck, Hippie and Nerdy Dads

Everyone has one, and while not all fathers are cut from the same mold, there are definitely more than a few that fit certain stereotypes.

The redneck dad owns a substantial amount of guns, his Sunday best includes either/and/or a red flannel hunting jacket and ripped jeans. He drives jacked up pick-up trucks with loud speakers, watches NASCAR religiously and possibly, as the photo shows, likes to engage in a certain type of horseshoes that involve the use of toilet seats.

The hippie dad can be seen sporting acid-trip ty-dyed shirts, uses the words ‘man’ and ‘dude’... a lot. Hair is usually long and ratted and accessorised with a handkerchief of bandanna.

According to Viceland, there are also ‘rockers’, ‘gangstas’, republicans, democrats, ‘nerdy’, ‘jock’ and ‘absentee’ fathers. Stats for Categorizing Fathers Trending: Older & Chilly
