This piece of eco-friendly furniture uses recycled plastic bottles to help make a new product out of what would otherwise be harmful waste.

The 'Kuskus' rocking chair by the French-based company Plastiketic was created to be a piece of upcycled furniture that seeks to take wasteful man-made by-products and transform them into something both functional and of better value. This particular example of home decor uses 36 discarded water bottles that have been collected and then slightly inflated with air to help create a comfortable cushioned base for the chair.

Besides utilizing recycled plastic, the frame of this rocking chair is also made from sustainable spruce collected from a sustainable wood forest in France. The 'Kuskus chair is also portable in its design and can be used both inside the house and out.
