Recycled Fluorescent Bulbs [Edit]

Recycled Tube Light

Castor Canadensis, a group of Canadian craftsmen and artists, has a solution for all those defunct tubular fluorescent tubes. They merged several together around some incandescent light-bulbs to form what they’ve called a Recycled Tube Light.

It is a great way to reuse these old lights which have disposal issues. They should not be carelessly thrown into the trash as the white dust inside the bulbs contain toxic mercury which can pollute the environment and harm living things, including us!

They come in different lengths and there are horizontal, vertical and free-standing models. There is no news if they would replace the incandescent light-bulbs with energy efficient compact florescent ones instead.
