If your closet is anything like mine, you’ll have loads of things you’ve almost never worn but that you like too much to throw away. A fun alternative to ebay, which can be an expensive habit—here you could get funky white leather ankle boots from Denmark or a glam rhinestone belt buckle—and there’s no time limits or auctions—no one can outbid you out at the last second—you just view the item, see what the seller wants to swap for and email the seller and see if you’ve got something in your online wardrobe she fancies. Even better than your roommate’s wardrobe because you don’t have to give it back!  Founded in 2004 by fashionista, stylist and personal shopper, Judy Berger, whatsmineisyours.com was launched as a reaction to the limitations posed by existing consumer websites. Judy wanted to appeal to the more 'fashion literate', to create a community between like-minded style addicts, and to make it easy to consume and indulge whilst remaining eco-conscious.
