There are some people that just blow me away with the ideas that come to their minds and Michael Hertz is one of these people.

The designer of this re-designed NYC subway map gave Manhattan a whole new meaning when he placed it on this wiener-shaped map. Although the shape of the map is not well endowed, it still came out at a CAE Gallery show.

Implications - Re-designs present never-ending opportunities for businesses to reconsider designs from the past, and ways to infuse them with new, contemporary style. This NYC subway map is an example of how a business can reinterpret a popular consumer sight and with minor tweaks create an effective, unusual product.
