Take futuristic fashion (think ‘Star Trek’) and mix it in with a little space voyage with a hint of disco and what you get is Raphael Young’s Autumn/Winter 2009 footwear line.

The Parisian designer’s line is full of wooden wedges and coned heels with mosaic leather pattens. Raphael Young created these designs by hand carving the prototypes into wooden blocks.

Having been a math and physics major, Raphael Young ensures that these shoes, boots and sandals are comfortable and well balanced.
