Learn how to make your very own inedible crochet ramen meal thanks to Japanese YouTube user Betibettin. With a step-by-step online tutorial you can now learn how to recreate your own bowl of knitted soup entirely from string.

YouTuber Betibettin knows his way around a pair of knitting needles in his ramen knitting tutorial. The video turns the iconic instant soup dish into a fun piece of inedible food art by recreating the popular ingredients from colorful spools of string. The curly noodles and traditional Japanese toppings of egg and green onion are made entirely from string and then laid in a bowl to replicate the look of the traditional soup. The broth is recreated using a layer of yellow plastic expertly laid to recreate the look of soupy liquid.
