Music Video PSAs - Radiohead Human Trafficking Ad (VIDEO)
Radiohead has created a music video that juxtaposes the lives of children in the western world and those being exploited in developing countries. The video for All I Need doubles as a PSA to raise awareness for human trafficking.
Using a split screen, it parallels the lives of a young white boy who rolls out of his comfortable bed, grabs a bowl of cereal and plops down in front of the TV without a care with a boy in a third world country who wakes from an unpleasant sleeping arrangement and goes to work at a factory first thing in the morning.
The UK band is known for approaching the music business in unconventional ways, and as a result are able to attract a lot of positive press. Just look at the buzz created after offering a “pay as you want” approach to their latest album, In Rainbows.
