Last week’s Art Cars Festival on the United States’ West Coast featured some amazing cars. An art car is a road-legal car that has been artistically altered in a permanent fashion. What’s more, to qualify as an art car, it must be used for daily driving—for example, going to the supermarket or to visit friends. There are around 500 of these art cars that are currently road legal in the US.
